Postman Pete hails from the North East of England, has never been a postman in his life, but is called Pete. Since upping sticks and leaving the nest in the mid-eighties, after a 7-year-itch in London, Pete ended up in Vietnam, where he quickly learned how to dine out by dropping a business card in a fishbowl, and then became a husband and father, home owner and suddenly had to grow up and be responsible. After 18 years, 3 kids and uncountable jobs, in 2011, the family relocated to the UK, and now owns 2 Post Offices, one car, 3 vacuum cleaners and a hamster.

p.s. And if anyone wants to know why we owns 3 vacuum cleaners, the answer is obvious – I threw one away!
